Create Project
To begin using CodeScan, the first step is to create your project. The create project command can be found in the top left pane on the Start Page, or through the File menu in CodeScan.
You will be presented with the Create Project dialog. Enter a project name, and select your scanning language.
Click the “…” button to browse for the folder that your source code is located in.
Once you have selected the folder, press “OK” in this dialog, and then press “Save” in the create project dialog.
You will now be presented with the File Manager dialog. Select any relevant source code files that you wish to scan. If it is a small project, the “Select All” button can be used – however, be aware that with a large project, you may choose to assess particular components or areas in isolation before attempting a complete scan.
